Absolutely not! Many Dealerships will use this tactic to force you into buying their factory options that are usually marked up greatly and may not perform as well as the aftermarket options. The Magnusson-Moss act that prohibits ANY company from not honoring a warranty unless they can prove that the malfunction was caused by modifications made by the end user. The burden of proof ALWAYS lies with the Manufacturer.
